Courses Present by Astrophysics and Cosmology Group
Astrophysics and cosmology study structure of stars, their formation and evolution, as well as compact objects such as black holes, neutron stars and quark stars. We also study formation and evolution of cosmic structures and structure of galaxies as well as the history of the universe from initial Big-Bang to the late time accelerated expansion. Dark energy and Dark matter theories and their role in the cosmic evolution and dynamic of the universe are also interesting topics in astrophysics and cosmology. In order to introduce for the students, the discussed topics and to train experts in this field of physics, the Group of Astrophysics and Cosmology of the Physics Department of Shiraz University offers the following courses for interested students in the mentioned topics.
